I purchased a new 2007 Hyde Drift boat that's 16'8'' and very stable. If you have never fished from
a Hyde, there's nothing like it.
Only with extremely low water levels will I use a Jon boat on our smallmouth bass rivers. My
Jon boat is comfortable and has cushioned seats with a back to make for a nice day on the river. It's very
durable and can handle low water trips.
